I’m a marketer, writer, communicator, and businessman approaching midlife.
I’ve been a freelance journalist since 2002 and a full-time journalist the five years before then. Since then, I’ve assumed a number of responsibilities at Mohawk Mfg. & Supply Co., a bus part manufacturer and distributor formerly owned by my family. I have been involved in just about all sales and marketing functions, IT, website development, operations and management. In 2009, I complete a nearly four-year stint at Loyola University Chicago, earning an MBA/MSIMC as a part-time student.
I continue to be involved in the community, serving on the Board of Governors at the Kohl Children’s Museum, working with the New Trier Republican Organization. My wife, my young child, and I live in suburban Chicago.
This blog is a vehicle for me to express myself when I have the time and the desire to post. As you can tell, the last couple of years have been sparse. Fatherhood and other life changes can do that.
Have a message you need help with? A job you think would fit me best? Any other proposal? E-mail me.
You and I have a shit ton in common it seems. Someday we should hang or something. Or write a sit-com together starring Paul Tanner as himself. That’d be the balls, eh?
Alright. Good luck with your blog, friend. ~ APP
TJ. Start posting stuff. Now. I’m ripe with anticipation and underarm sweat.
